Two world-class botanical gardens tucked into Lawai Valley on the south shore. Allerton Garden features formal garden rooms, dramatic Moreton Bay fig trees (seen in Jurassic Park), and a stunning stream setting. McBryde Garden is a more natural conservation-focused garden with rare Hawaiian plants.
Tip: The Allerton Garden requires a guided tour (book online in advance). McBryde Garden is self-guided and less crowded. Both depart by van from the visitor center in Poipu.
