Beverly Gannon's landmark Upcountry restaurant in a restored 1920s plantation general store has been a Maui institution since 1988. The menu blends Asian, Hawaiian, and American influences with locally sourced ingredients from nearby farms. The sashimi napoleon, Hunan lamb rack, and pineapple upside-down cake are legendary dishes.
Tip: Combine with an Upcountry Maui drive through Makawao and the Kula farm belt. The Sunday brunch is excellent and slightly easier to book than dinner. Reserve ahead.
