Three miles of golden sand backed by resort hotels, Ka'anapali is Maui's most popular beach for good reason. The highlight is Black Rock (Pu'u Keka'a) at the north end — a volcanic outcrop with incredible cliff jumping and some of the best shore snorkeling on the island. Sea turtles are regulars here.
Tip: Watch the nightly torch-lighting and cliff-diving ceremony at Black Rock at sunset — it happens every evening and is free to watch from the beach.
